What Size Skip Do I Need

Skip Sizes & The Different Benefits

Depending on the size of your project and the capacity needed for waste materials, the size skip you need will vary. If you are completing a home project yourself, and have light waste materials to get rid of, then the 2-4 cubic yard skip may be right for you. This container is the perfect solution for garden waste, wood, metals, plastic and rubble.

If you are looking for a builder’s skip, then the 6 cubic yard skip is our most popular. This is great for small-medium sized projects for loads of aggregates; soil, rubble and hard-core. For larger construction projects, you will benefit from one of our skips ranging from 12-16 cubic yard skips.

Skip Sizes Explained

As you can see, each of our skips hold varying capacities and suit a range of projects. Our largest skips are designed for ‘bulky waste’ or large clearances, whereas the smaller skips could be for domestic use, construction work or refurbishments.

Our largest skips include the 35 and 40 cubic yard skip. These huge industrial skips are designed for large volumes of commercial waste and recyclables. This sized skip will often be used for factory waste, packaging, or large construction work.
