Booking a skip with Bailey’s Skip Hire & Recycling has never been easier.
Our new online shop is now live, and to make the process as straightforward as possible we’ve put together a short step by step video walking you through everything from start to finish.
Here’s exactly what to expect when you place your order online.
Step 1
Choose Your Skip Size
Head to our online shop at baileysskiphire.co.uk/shop and browse the range of skip sizes available. Whether you’re having a small domestic clear out or managing a larger renovation project, simply select the skip size that best suits your needs. If you’re not sure which size is right for you, our team are always happy to advise, just call us on 01536 743030.
Step 2
Enter Your Postcode
Once you’ve selected your skip size, use the postcode checker to find out which delivery zone you are in. Our pricing varies slightly depending on your location, and the postcode checker calculates this for you automatically.
Step 3
Select Your Zone
Based on your postcode result, select the correct delivery zone for your area. This ensures your quote accurately reflects the delivery cost to your location.
Step 4
Choose Your Hire Duration
Select either 7 or 14 days hire depending on how long you need the skip. If you’re tackling a bigger project over a couple of weekends, 14 days gives you the flexibility to work at your own pace without feeling rushed.
Step 5
Do You Need a Permit?
If your skip needs to be placed on a public road or pavement rather than on private land such as a driveway, you will need a permit. Simply select yes and the permit cost will be added to your order automatically based on your location. We handle the permit application on your behalf, no separate forms or phone calls required. If your skip is going on your own driveway or private land, simply select no and move on to the next step.
Step 6
Door Option (6 and 8 Yard Skips Only)
If you have selected a 6 or 8 yard skip, you will be given the option to add a door. A door makes loading heavy or bulky items much easier as you can walk items straight in rather than lifting them over the side. There is no additional charge for this option. If you choose to add a door, you will then be asked to select the position you would like the door to face when the skip is offloaded, so it works best for your space.
Step 7
Your Price is Displayed
Once all your selections have been made your hire price will be displayed clearly before you proceed any further.
Step 8
Select Your Preferred Delivery Date
Choose your preferred delivery date from the available options. We deliver Monday to Saturday and will always do our best to meet your preferred date. Please note: if you have added a permit to your order, please allow a minimum of 48 hours when selecting your preferred delivery date to allow time for the permit to be processed.

Step 9
Add to Cart and Pay
Happy with everything? Simply add to cart and proceed to checkout to pay securely online. You can also choose to spread the cost using Klarna at checkout if you’d prefer a flexible payment option.
And that’s it your skip is booked and our team will take it from there.
